Well it has been forever since I posted anything on my blog.  Now I have some fun things to talk about.  Last May I was able to find a car I've been looking for down in White House, TN.  Not only did I find the car, but I also met a wonderful family who gave the car their love since 1997.

The car is a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Futura 2 door Hardtop. They call it a 63 1/2 because the 2 door hardtop was introduced as a half year model in February of 1963 and only ran through September of 63 when the 64 model year cars started which were a different body style.  This car is a factory 260 V8 and factory 4-speed car which are kind of rare.

I also learned some cool history on this particular car that I will go into in another post.  I'll be putting new interior in after our last car show of this year in West Point, NE this coming weekend.  Keeping the original look interior is the plan with two tone turquoise seats and door panels, cut and sewn carpet.  The headliner will have to wait until it's time to paint which may be a while.  I'll be posting more photos and info too, so stay tuned for updates.
